PPE Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for preventing workplace injuries. PPE is designed to protect workers from hazards that cannot be eliminated through engineering or administrative controls. This equipment includes items such as helmets, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and high-visibility clothing.

Employers have a legal and ethical responsibility to provide their workers with appropriate PPE and ensure it is used correctly. This includes providing training on how to properly use and maintain the equipment, as well as ensuring that it fits properly and is comfortable to wear.

PPE should always be used with other safety measures, such as regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and emergency response plans. It is important to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the PPE and adjust it as necessary to ensure that it continues to provide adequate protection.
